I started The Quilter's Treasure Chest because of my love of quilting and helping people. I also started it because I got tired of driving and hour to Boise every time I needed supplies.
I began quilting as a service project for my church. It turned into a lesson on compassion and love for my fellow human beings as the quilt I thought was ugly was given as a sole possession to someone who had lost their home to an earthquake in Columbia.
Quilting is therapeutic and helps people build their confidence as they learn more and more. I love being a part of that process.
